One of the hardest things to design isn't a complex dashboard or a large e-commerce store.
It's a creative studio website.
Because creativity is easy to overdo.
While working on Joy Stories Studio, I kept asking myself:
How do you make a website feel imaginative and expressive without making it difficult to use?
The answer wasn't adding more visual elements.
It was creating space for the brand's personality to shine while keeping the experience clear and intuitive.
The best creative websites don't overwhelm visitors with creativity.
They help people experience it.
A reminder that good design isn't about how much you add.
It's about knowing what deserves attention.

Direction 1 feels softer, calmer, and more trustworthy.
Direction 2 feels bolder, more playful, and more distinctive.
That’s the tradeoff I’m thinking through:

Direction 2 feels more memorable and full of personality.
For a cat care app, I’m trying to balance trust with warmth and playfulness.
