Shipping a 99/100 PageSpeed PWA for Travel with Zero Frameworks 🚀

I just wrapped up a major technical overhaul of my travel media ecosystem (Velvet Journeys). My goal was to prove that a content-heavy, cinematic travel site doesn't need heavy page builders or bloated frameworks to be lightning-fast.

The Stack: • Custom Vanilla JS & CSS (No React, no WordPress). • Custom PWA & Service Worker for offline capabilities. • Strict Core Web Vitals optimization. • Full Schema.org JSON-LD. • GEO/AEO ready: Configured llms.txt and machine-readable data for AI search engines.
