what I built
Dragon Slayer: Chronicles of Eldoria (Game Awards Edition) is an immersive, high-fidelity real-time 2D Action Hack & Slash game built with a retro medieval gothic aesthetic.
The game transitions players through an emotional narrative beginning with a full-screen cinematic intro sequence (using unmuted AI videos that chronicle the hero Jorel's growth, his father's demise under the tyrant Dragon King Ignis, and his castle siege on a rainy night). In the lobby, players are greeted by an interactive slowly panning thematic background. In the active stage, players control Jorel in real-time as he dodges fireballs, swings his sword, triggers Aether blasts, uses potion heals, and activates the ancient Wyrm Whistle to freeze time. Victory culminates in a gold-glowing slideshow celebrating Jorel claiming the crown beside the last Golden Dragon, accompanied by custom synthesized chiptune soundtracks, choral chants (inspired by God of War 4), and reflective chord progressions.
Brief explanation of how I used Stitch
I utilized Google Stitch as the foundational design system and component compiler:
Project Initialization: Spawned the core canvas sandbox and environment framework directly through the Stitch workspace project context.
HUD Design Compilation: Used the platform's high-fidelity asset generators to compile the layout architecture for our overlay screen systems (e.g., character info HUD, action slots, cooldown indicators, and boss HP banners).
UI Layout Integration: Extracted the compiled UI tokens and structure directly to coordinate them with a real-time responsive HTML5 Canvas rendering engine. This bridged pixel-perfect UI elements (credits overlays, dialog bubbles, mobile D-Pads, buttons) with our canvas coordinates.

Really like how you pushed Stitch beyond traditional UI design. The game flow from cinematic intro to gameplay and ending sequence sounds very well thought out.
