Tested out Qwen today, the newest open-source GenAI from Alibaba.
It had a lot of the image editing features as Nano Banana, while using natural language to make edits. This is a quick video it created with the results.
Honestly, what gets me about this piece is the secondary action the tree animation is doing. Not only do we get cascading responses, but there is even a subtle sway.
I wish I could push the model past 5 seconds, though.
Interesting test! It’s impressive how open-source GenAI models like Qwen are bringing powerful image editing and natural language control to creators. Tools like this are making experimentation and rapid content creation much more accessible.

Night After Halloween already has a fantastic script, and now comes the exciting part: bringing it to life through AI-powered visual storytelling.
My role is to take what's been imagined on paper and translate it into a cinematic experience through AI video production, creative direction, visual development, and detailed shot-by-shot execution.
From establishing the film's visual language and building atmospheric environments to crafting compelling characters, cinematic compositions, and seamless sequences, every visual decision needs to serve the story.
The goal isn't simply to generate beautiful AI visuals. It's to create a cohesive film where every frame feels intentional, every scene carries the right emotion, and the final experience does justice to the script.
The story is already there. Now, it's time to make audiences see it exactly as we envision it.
Keeping characters this consistent across shots is the hardest part of AI short films, and the atmosphere already feels cohesive in just 10 seconds. Curious how you're handling continuity once the story moves into new environments.
I didn't agree with you fully because there are ways to remove the ai slope, I think a human skill + ai is a killer combo 💀...
But in short AI has given us the speed of 10x even sometimes its 100x, so the thing you have to learn is the basics process:
(Input -> Process -> Output)
and then you have to guide the ai and it will slay it off like a pro🔥
Trust me bros its true 🙌
Manual work is always better than ai slop you can use ai for some clips but full video made with ai is unprofessional and a waste of money and resources
