My AI workflow has four tools.
But that's not the part that changed my work.
The part that changed it: knowing which 20% of the output to keep, and which 80% to throw away.
Here's what nobody says in the "my AI stack" posts: the tools are the easy part. Everyone has the same four now. Claude, Figma, Cursor, something to automate the boring bits. The stack isn't the moat.
The moat is judgment. And it shows up in small, unglamorous decisions:
→ AI gives me ten onboarding flows. Knowing which one a nervous first-time user won't bounce from — that's not in the prompt.
→ AI drafts the empty state. Knowing it'll quietly set a false expectation users measure everything against — that's experience, not generation.
→ AI writes the microcopy. Hearing that it sounds right but lands cold — that's taste, built over years.
The speed is real. I ship faster than I ever have.
But speed without judgment just means arriving at the wrong answer sooner.
The designers who'll matter in 2026 aren't the ones with the best AI stack. They're the ones who know which output to trust — and which to quietly delete.
