Would you rather inherit a codebase with zero comments but clean architecture, or one full of comments explaining a messy structure?
I'll take the first every time. Comments explaining why a mess exists don't fix the mess, they just document it. Clean structure needs less explaining in the first place.
Genuinely curious where other devs land on this.
