One of the easiest ways to burn ad budget without noticing: showing prospecting ads to people who already bought from you. They convert again in your reports, your CPA looks cheap — but those sales were already yours. I always add a past-buyer exclusion (website purchasers plus customer list, 180 days) to every prospecting campaign, and keep those buyers in a separate retargeting flow with upsells and new arrivals instead. It takes five minutes to set up and it instantly makes your real acquisition numbers honest. Do you exclude past buyers from your prospecting campaigns? #MetaAds #Ecommerce #PaidSocial

Good point. One thing worth adding is to match the exclusion window to the product's repurchase cycle. For consumables, 180 days can hide people who are ready to reorder, so a shorter window plus a separate replenishment ad often works better. Do you change the window by category?
