We’ve been experimenting with a design skill we built around specific visual styles. For this test, we picked Y2K vaporwave and ran it in Claude with a single prompt, which gave us two different versions.
The goal was to see how far a reusable design skill could carry one clear visual direction. Still exploring, but this is getting interesting!
Looking good gets attention, but actually working is what builds a business.
Pretty visuals might turn heads, but effective design has a clear job to do: communicate fast, build trust, and drive action.
Here is what makes design actually perform:
• Hierarchy: Leading the eye naturally to what matters most.
• Clarity: Explaining what you do in seconds with zero confusion.
• Brand Support: Backing up your reputation at every single touchpoint.
• Action: Making the next step completely obvious and frictionless.
When you balance aesthetics with real purpose, that is when design pays for itself.
