A retail startup wanted to launch a scalable multi-vendor marketplace where multiple sellers could register, manage their own stores, list products, process orders, and receive payouts through a centralized platform.
The existing system lacked vendor management, automated order processing, inventory synchronization, and secure payment integration, making it difficult to scale the business.
The Challenge
The client faced several challenges:
Vendors had no dedicated dashboard.
Inventory updates were managed manually.
Order processing was slow and error-prone.
Customers couldn't track their orders in real time.
No automated payment splitting for vendors.
Poor search and product filtering.
Limited reporting for sales performance.
The platform wasn't optimized for mobile users.

Why This Solution Worked
Rather than building a basic online store, the platform was designed as a complete marketplace ecosystem. Vendors could independently manage products, inventory, and orders, while administrators retained full control over the platform. Automated payments, inventory synchronization, and advanced analytics reduced manual work and created a seamless shopping experience for customers, enabling the business to scale efficiently.

I’m thrilled to unveil The Design Oracle (or Design Arcana)—an interactive, mystical tarot experience created specifically for freelancers and designers to reveal the fate of their current projects.
This is my official submission for the Squarespace Make It Real Challenge. My goal was to completely break away from standard grid layouts and see how far I could push the creative boundaries using the new Finish Layer tools.
Here is how the magic works behind the scenes (without a single line of custom code):
Z-Axis & Overlapping: Used Fluid Engine to scatter the cards and floating stickers across the canvas, creating depth and a true "spread" feel.
Hover Reveals: Leveraged native image swap effects so users can organically "draw" a card just by exploring the screen.
Mobile Overrides: Rebuilt the entire chaotic desktop spread into a sleek, functional vertical stack for perfect mobile UX.
After over a decade in UI/UX and brand design, I still believe the best projects start with pure creativity before locking into rigid systems. This was incredibly fun to build.

Platte River Pizza Co. is a conceptual eCommerce experience for a Nebraska-based, farm-to-table frozen pizza brand rooted in Midwest values. Inspired by the Platte River, prairie landscapes, local agriculture, faith, and family, the site blends warm storytelling with modern commerce through editorial layouts, custom illustrations, textured elements, and bold product photography.
The goal was to create a brand that feels authentic, elevated, and distinctly Nebraskan while making online shopping intuitive, engaging, and memorable. Built with Squarespace's Finish Layer tools and absolutely no code 🙌
The inspiration for this site stems from my husband and I's current obsession with perfecting a sourdough pizza crust and being crazy enough to even think about putting ourselves back into the restaurant industry, hahaha.
Finish Layer Tools Used:
Block Animations - hover effects (hero section pizza builder), loop effects (Shop Our Pizzas blowing in the wind effect), hover effect (makeshift location lightbox in where to find us section)
Block Transformations - opacity used on background images and emblems, positioning + scaling buttons to fit certain areas, rotating graphics and images to give them a layering effect over sections
