I'm excited to participate in this challenge. I've got to learn how to use Google's new tool Stitch, and I was surprised by its capabilities.
What I built: Belle is a premium website design with 6 pages in total, rather than just a single landing page, for medical spas and longevity centers. This is an idea that I had in mind for a website template, but I couldn't work on the design until now with the help of Stitch. The goal was to replace traditional day-spa aesthetics with an ultra-minimalist "luxury-clinical editorial" design that feels alive.
How I used Stitch: I started with a design.md file that Gemini helped me draft containing detailed instructions for the: visual hierarchy, overall style, color palette, layout structure, service organization, and motion and effects
The first response from Stitch was really good, but a few pages had sections that needed improvement. I asked Stitch to create variations for those specific areas until I felt completely confident in them.
Once the final sections were locked in, I built the interactive prototype, ensured all pages were properly connected, and fixed a few remaining issues. Finally, I exported the finished screens to AI Studio and Netlify.
Feedback: I loved that I'm able to create 5x variations. This was really helpful because it gave me different options and made it easy for me to choose the best one.
I find it awesome that Stitch can work on multiple requests at the same time. This helped me speed up the process. I took advantage of it by working on another screen while the other was loading.
I would love to see the navigation and footer as separate screens, like some sort of templates that can be applied to other screens. An issue that I faced was that the navigation and footer were different on the screens. I had to ask Stitch to add the exact same navigation and footer from a reference screen, which Stitch had a bit of trouble making the same.
While working on the project, I found myself having many screens, and it wasn't easy to find the format option😓, which I really liked once I used it🙌. Also, I think it'd be great if the pages were more accessible and not placed with the images in the command menu.
Netlify Link to your prototype exported on Netlify: https://d4371ef6-belle-medspa-longevity.netlify.app/ Home page The section "Cellular Optimization" makes use of a wave distortion shader.
AI Studio I imported the screens to AI Studio, and it changed most of the design, but I didn't even mind because it turned out to be really good. Here's the link to the published site:https://belle-longevity-and-medspa-414217645147.us-east1.run.app/
