New brand. New ecommerce experience. Built for a fast-growing sport.
This summer, I had the opportunity to work directly with the founder of Smash Recovery to help bring a new pickleball recovery brand to life.
The project included:
• Developing a bold, aggressive visual identity
• Exploring seven different logo directions
• Building the final black-and-volt brand system
• Creating a Shopify ecommerce experience
• Setting up preorders around the production schedule
• Building the foundation for email capture and launch tracking
The result is more than a new logo or website. It’s a complete launch system designed to help Smash Recovery build an audience, accept early reservations, and measure demand before its products begin shipping.
I’m looking forward to watching this brand grow within the pickleball community.
Need help launching something new—or improving what you already have? I’m accepting new marketing and ecommerce projects for the remainder of the year.
This is how a social system should work: strong enough rules that the brand reads at thumbnail size, loose enough that the feed never looks copy-pasted. Do you hand clients a Figma kit for this, or build it in something their team edits themselves?
Salt as the core idea is clever. It says preservation, purity and texture in one move, which is exactly what skincare is trying to say. Curious how the crystal motif holds up at small sizes, like a cap or a sachet. Looking forward to the full case.
