🎬 How it was made
① Look development: a character sheet keeping my traveller's face and curly hair from my earlier entries, now in a mustard corduroy jacket, plus a time-machine prop sheet (idle, glowing, smoking) and empty location plates. All generated with Codex image generation.
② First frames: each scene composed from the character sheet, the prop sheet and its location plate in a fixed order, so the same face, jacket and machine carry through every jump.
③ Every shot animated in CapCut Video Studio with Seedance 2.0 Fast (720p, 9:16): a 15s wake-up, a 5s dial insert, four 10s jumps and a 12s arrival. Each prompt is timed beat by beat and ends on a vanish flash so every cut lands inside the light. Two shots were regenerated to tighten the story: a new first stop and a cleaner arrival.
④ The rolling date counter is typography, not generated text. Rendered frame by frame with Claude Code and Codex in the same style as my earlier location stamps: the day rolls 25 → 24, the year spins and slams onto each wrong year, and a cyan jump flash matches the machine's glow.
⑤ Cut in CapCut: "Quirky Adventure" from the CapCut music library, a whoosh on every jump, a buzzer on every wrong year, a marimba on arrival, a smoke puff, and a fade to black.
