Developed engaging social media concepts and creative copy designed to educate, entertain, and encourage audience interaction.

This project involved brainstorming original campaign ideas, developing creative directions, and writing compelling social media captions, artwork copy, and interactive content for short-form GIFs and reels.

The focus was on transforming technical product information into relatable, easy-to-understand content while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

From concept development to final copy, my goal was to create meaningful content that captures attention, sparks curiosity, and encourages engagement.

Turning car filter facts into a quick Fact or Fiction GIF is a smart way to make technical info feel light. Do you write the caption first or sketch the visual idea first?

For this project, I was tasked with developing the copy for a promotional Black Friday email mailer for a hotel situated in the beautiful Drakensberg mountains, South Africa.

The objective was to create an engaging and persuasive mailer that would capture attention, promote exclusive accommodation discounts of up to 40%, and encourage potential guests to take advantage of the limited-time offer.

My responsibilities included crafting an attention-grabbing subject line, compelling headlines, promotional messaging, and clear calls to action. I also structured the content to communicate accommodation packages, pricing, booking dates, and important terms and conditions in a clear, reader-friendly way.

The project required a balance between creative marketing language and accurate, informative content to ensure potential guests had everything they needed to make a booking decision.

My role focused exclusively on copywriting and content structure. The visual design and production of the mailer were handled separately by the design team.

Black Friday inboxes are brutal. What's the one thing in your copy that helps the mailer stand out from the other fifty?
