5 UI mistakes that are quietly killing your app's UX 👇
After reviewing hundreds of designs, these are the most common issues I see — even from experienced designers:
1️⃣ Too many font sizes
Stick to 3 max: heading, body, caption. Chaos lives beyond that.
2️⃣ Inconsistent spacing
Use an 8px grid system. Your eyes (and devs) will thank you.
3️⃣ Low contrast text
If you squint to read it, users won't even try. Aim for 4.5:1 ratio minimum.
4️⃣ No empty states designed
What does your screen look like with zero data? Most designers forget this.
5️⃣ Ignoring mobile thumb zones
Bottom navigation, bottom CTAs. Fingers live at the bottom of the screen.
