This is the kind of milestone that motivates you to keep building. 🚀
$100K earned in one year is an incredible achievement. Congratulations, Nikita!
I’m building my own journey too, focusing on website design and automation, and seeing what’s possible here makes me even more excited about the road ahead.
One project, one client, and one step at a time. The goal is to keep improving, deliver real value, and build lasting client relationships.
Here’s to the beginning! ✨
Exactly one year on Contra, and just hit $100,000 earned! 💸✨
Signed up exactly a year ago, and just got the notification crossing the six-figure mark.
Building and working with clients here has been an absolute pleasure - clean, smooth, and no unnecessary friction. Huge thanks to...
We built a freight forwarder that doesn't exist. Then we made its website actually work.
Halyard is a concept project — no client, no brief. We wanted to see what happens when a corporate site stops describing its product and just runs it.
So on the site you can:
→ Hover a live route map — 16 real ports, containers moving along their trade lanes, each port showing its local time and weekly sailings.
→ Track a container — type a number and it's checked against the real ISO 6346 check digit. Mistype one and it suggests the correction. You get the vessel, voyage, arrival date and every milestone from booking to delivery.
→ Price a lane — Shanghai to Rotterdam, 40ft reefer, pick a weight. Out comes transit time, sea distance, an indicative rate range and that container's CO₂e.
Five pages, built in Framer. The route map, tracker, estimator, counters and clocks are custom React code components. Open roles on the Careers page come from the CMS.
The part we keep coming back to: most corporate sites make you book a call to see the product. This one hands it to you on the homepage.

🎄 What if your Christmas gift list could actually solve the “What do you want?” problem?
Every December, the same conversation starts:
“So… what do you want for Christmas?”
Then comes the chaos.
Screenshots in WhatsApp.
Random links in Notes.
“I'll send it later.”
And somehow someone still buys the exact thing you already bought. 😂
So I decided to build a web app around a simple idea:
Make Christmas lists easier to create, share, and keep organized.
I built ChristmasList as a concept for making the whole process more structured instead of keeping everything scattered across chats and screenshots.
The fun part of building products isn't always the complicated technology.
Sometimes it's taking a very familiar problem and asking:
“Can software make this ridiculously simpler?”
🎁 That's what I was exploring with this one.
Now I'm curious:
What's one Christmas problem you would build an app to solve?
Finding the right gift 🎁
Staying within budget 💰
Organizing family gifts 👨👩👧👦
Avoiding duplicate gifts 😭
Something completely different 👀

ChristmasList — One Link For All Your Christmas Wishes
Add wishes from any store, in any country. Share one link on WhatsApp. No double gifts.
The duplicate gift is the real problem. If people can quietly mark "I'm getting this" without the list owner seeing it, that alone would sell it to my family. My pick would be budget, there's always one person who goes way over the limit everyone agreed on.
