Brightnest – Full-Stack Booking System Built in Lovable
I built a complete booking system for a small cleaning business in 2 days, entirely in Lovable: frontend, backend and automations.
The client is fictional, but I briefed it like a real job: Brightnest Cleaning Co., a two-person home cleaning team. Booking one clean took 8 texts over 2 days, answered at night after a full day of cleaning. Half the leads went cold.
What the customer gets
→ An exact price that updates with every answer
→ A 6-step booking flow with a calendar that only shows real openings
→ A $30 deposit to confirm, and a private link to reschedule or cancel without an account
What the owner gets
→ A dashboard: Today, Schedule, Bookings, Leads, Customers and Automations
→ Pricing and availability worked out on the server from the owner's own settings
→ An owner login plus a read-only demo role that keeps real customer data private
What runs on its own
→ Confirmation emails through Resend
→ A 48-hour "is access still set?" check
→ Sick-day rescheduling: each customer gets 3 nearby openings to move with one tap
→ Follow-ups on abandoned quotes
→ Quiet hours from 9 pm to 8 am
Testing
4 rounds of QA as a customer and as the owner, on phone and laptop. 27 issues found, 25 fixed before launch.
The result: from 8 texts and 2 days to booked in about 2 minutes.
