I recently built WP DataFlow, a custom WordPress JSON importer to solve a real project requirement — importing profile data into a CPT with taxonomies, ACF fields, content, and images.
2/
The plugin takes JSON data, maps the fields to WordPress, automatically handles existing/new taxonomy terms, and imports profile images from a ZIP directly into the Media Library as Featured Images.
3/
I also added preview/validation, duplicate detection, re-import/update support, batch processing, progress tracking, error handling, and import history — while keeping the process non-destructive.
4/
The first test successfully processed 37 profiles, matched all 37 images, and had 0 failures. 🚀

Built with WordPress standards in mind, and I’m keeping the architecture documented with AGENTS.md so the project can continue evolving cleanly.
Building tools to solve real problems > building features just for the sake of it.
I'm Christianah ( Tiana ), a WordPress developer and web designer. I build and redesign websites for healthcare practices, law firms, real estate, home services and nonprofits, mostly with Elementor and WooCommerce.
After years of freelancing, I'm finally setting up shop on Contra, and the community here is a big reason why.
So I'll start with a question for the people who've been here a while:
What's one thing you wish you knew in your first month on Contra?
It might be of help to other new people like me.
I'll read every reply, and I'm happy to return the favour on anything WordPress.
With modern block themes (FSE), lightweight builders (Elementor/Bricks), and headless setups, WordPress remains the king of SEO, complex CMS structures, and zero-platform lock-in. When you need complete database ownership, nothing beats it
