What if your image could sketch itself? ✏️
I’ve been experimenting with a browser tool that turns uploaded images into animated sketches—tracing outlines first, then gradually adding shading and color.
It started with a simple charcoal sphere. Now you can try your own images in charcoal or colored pencil.
Built with React, Next.js, and Canvas 2D. Still a work in progress, especially getting the drawing motion to feel natural.

This is a smart balance! Engaging but still content-focused. The Dither Pattern works really well here, not distracting at all.

I'd ship A! More scannable, feels like a quick moment indeed. That side-by-side layout + visibility toggle is so clean. B feels a bit too heavy for daily capture. Love both though! ✨
