One of our older branding projects, but it still feels surprisingly fresh.
Cashbox started with a very simple idea: a box-shaped logo.
The identity went a little more out of the box.
Still a good example of how we like to work: keep the core idea simple, then push the visual system much further.

Starting from a plain box and letting the dials and gauges carry the system gives the logo room to stay quiet. Where did you decide the mark stops and the product UI takes over the personality?

Keeping the mark to a single box shape while letting the dials, gauges and motion system carry the personality is a disciplined call - that's where a lot of logo-led identities start looking crowded. The way Cashbox scales from a quiet mark into a busy visual system without losing the shape is what sells it.

Simple core idea, then a big system around it. That's the best way to do it, and it still looks fresh.
