Alibi: Know before you ship.
Every designer knows this moment: two versions on the screen, a deadline, and a team that can't agree. Usually the loudest opinion wins. I wanted a place where you can just ask people instead.
So I built Alibi, a social network for quick design studies. You post a question, people answer in a couple of taps, and in a few hours/days you get a clear verdict. Not feedback from a client who has seen your file twenty times :) but a fresh take from people who see it for the first time.
What you can test: • Compare: which of 2-4 versions works better • First click: where people click first, shown as a heatmap • First impression: your design is shown for 5 seconds, then one question • Feedback: a quick 1-5 score Across product design, graphic design, copy, motion and product ideas. Why I'd scroll it myself I spend way too much time scrolling Threads anyway. With Alibi that time actually turns into something: I see how other designers think, I get ideas, and my two taps help someone ship a better version.
Automation - what happens on its own: • You set a secret success rule that only you see, like "A wins with at least 60%" • The study closes itself at its answer target or deadline and counts everything automatically: shares, heatmaps, averages • You get a verdict, Confirmed or Not confirmed, and everyone who answered gets notified • Ran out of time? Extend by 7 days, keep it as is, or close it early • Base44 Superagent lives inside the app. Describe what you want to find out in plain words, drop in your images, and it fills in the whole study: category, type, question, answers and the success rule. Ask for changes in chat, then publish. Works on the phone too!) • Prefer doing it yourself? The step-by-step flow has AI suggest the category and tell you why.
How it's made Wireframes in Figma first, then the whole app was built in Base44 together with Superagent, in one chat and on the canvas, and polished screen by screen.
A few things I cared about along the way: • A calm monochrome look in Geist with no shouting caps, so the work being tested stays in focus • The phone isn't a shrunk desktop: a glass tab bar, a header that hides on scroll, Superagent drafts as cards in the chat • Motion stays light.
A small dream Big brands already hang out in comments and reply to memes. Imagine them asking people about a new icon or a small update right in a feed like this 🙂
Try it: https://alibi-app.base44.app (The feed is filled with sample studies so you can try everything right away.)
Full walkthrough is in the comments.
