NOIR EDEN is a fictional niche perfume brand built entirely
on Squarespace. The concept explores high-contrast editorial
design black, off-white to evoke the tension between darkness and desire. The site includes a Homepage,
Collections page featuring three signature scents (Obsidian
Rose, Velvet Noir, Eden Ashes), and a brand-focused inner
page experience designed to feel like a luxury editorial
publication rather than a typical e-commerce store.

Theory was designed for a creative studio that needed something bold and editorial without losing clarity or usability.
The part I loved most was figuring out how to make the site feel visually expressive while still giving the portfolio work room to breathe. Lots of strong type, intentional movement, and little custom details throughout.
Designed + developed in Squarespace 7.1 with custom CSS and JavaScript.
The oversized “recent work” type over the project imagery is a lovely touch. Gives the portfolio a real editorial feel.
A perfume commercial has to communicate something the viewer cannot smell. What feeling did you use as the starting point for the visual direction?
