A perfume commercial has to communicate something the viewer cannot smell. What feeling did you use as the starting point for the visual direction?
I started with the concept of a “neural photoshoot” — flowers illuminated by neon. The idea was to translate the fragrance into color, texture and atmosphere rather than trying to literally visualize a scent, creating something sensory and slightly dreamlike.
