Kairo
Travel Better. Together.
Kairo is a community-driven travel platform designed to bring discovery, planning, connection, and earning into a single ecosystem for modern travellers.
Most travel experiences today are fragmented. Travellers discover destinations on social media, search for packages on booking websites, coordinate plans in messaging apps, seek advice in online communities, and often pay inflated prices through multiple intermediaries.
Kairo was built to eliminate that fragmentation.
It creates a unified environment where travellers can discover destinations, connect with like-minded explorers, join communities, purchase trips directly from providers, share experiences, and earn through affiliate participation—all within one platform.
What Kairo Does
Discover Authentic Travel Experiences
Explore treks, expeditions, camps, road trips, backpacking routes, and curated travel experiences through a dedicated discovery engine built specifically for travellers.
Instead of browsing generic listings, users discover opportunities through real communities and trusted providers.
Community-Led Travel
Join destination-specific and interest-based communities where travellers exchange advice, itineraries, experiences, safety recommendations, and local insights.
Whether you're preparing for your first Himalayan trek or planning a cross-country motorcycle expedition, Kairo connects you with people who have already done it.
Direct Access to Providers
Kairo enables travellers to discover and book experiences directly from organizers and travel providers.
By reducing dependency on intermediaries, travellers gain access to more transparent pricing while providers gain direct access to their audience.
Reels & Travel Stories
Share travel moments through short-form content, destination highlights, reviews, recommendations, and journey documentation.
The platform transforms travel content into actionable discovery rather than passive entertainment.
Traveller Networking
Meet fellow travellers, find companions for upcoming trips, connect with experienced explorers, and build long-term travel relationships.
Kairo turns solo travel planning into a collaborative experience.
Affiliate-Based Earnings
Users can recommend trips, share experiences, promote verified packages, and earn commissions through affiliate participation.
This creates an ecosystem where value creation is rewarded directly.
Product Thinking Behind Kairo
The idea behind Kairo began with a simple observation:
People don't just buy trips.
They buy trust.
Most travel decisions are heavily influenced by recommendations, experiences, communities, and people who have already explored a destination.
Traditional booking platforms focus on transactions.
Social platforms focus on content.
Community platforms focus on discussions.
Kairo combines all three.
The product is designed around a traveller's natural journey:
Discover → Connect → Validate → Plan → Travel → Share → Earn
Instead of forcing users across multiple platforms, Kairo keeps the entire travel lifecycle inside one ecosystem.
This creates stronger engagement, higher trust, and better outcomes for both travellers and providers.
Design Philosophy
Kairo's visual identity is inspired by exploration itself.
The interface combines immersive travel imagery with a dark, cinematic aesthetic that allows destinations and experiences to remain the hero of every interaction.
The design emphasizes:
Visual-first discovery
Community-driven exploration
Reduced information overload
Intuitive mobile navigation
High-quality destination storytelling
Modern social interactions
The dark theme enhances media consumption while creating a premium travel experience that feels immersive, adventurous, and aspirational.
Every screen is designed to evoke the excitement of discovering the next journey.
Why Kairo Exists
Travel is inherently social.
The best recommendations come from people.
The best stories come from experiences.
The best trips come from trusted communities.
Kairo exists to bring those elements together.
Not as another booking platform.
Not as another social network.
But as a travel ecosystem where people discover, connect, explore, and grow together.
One Platform.
Every Travel Experience.
For Travellers. By Travellers.🔥

An interlocking gear-train workbench with true ratios and brass-blueprint charm.
I built this project to test An interlocking gear-train workbench with true ratios and brass-blueprint charm. The core engineering challenge was sustaining uncompromised 60 FPS rendering using Canvas2D while handling continuous user interaction without framework overhead.
WHAT I WAS TESTING:
I focused on two core engineering benchmarks:
Real-time gear mesh torque transfer and escapement tick mechanics
Interactive placement of interlocking brass gears with variable ratios
THE TECHNICAL SIDE:
Implements true involute tooth profiles computed via parametric equations. Rotational speeds are propagated through an adjacency graph of connected gear nodes.
Everything executes in the browser using Canvas2D, Mechanical Gear Physics, Involute Gear Tooth Profiles. No third-party frameworks, no heavy runtime bundles, and zero external tracking.
WHAT I LEARNED:
Floating-point precision drift caused gear teeth to gradually overlap after several minutes. Clamping phase angles to gear pitch intervals solved the drift.
Finding the sweet spot between mathematical precision and frame budget took careful profiling, but the result runs at a steady 60 FPS even on modest hardware.
TRY IT YOURSELF:
The live build is deployed on Netlify. Open it in your browser, test the controls, and observe the render response times.

A three-card tarot spread where every face is unique procedural sigil-art, woven into one reading.
I built this project to test a three-card tarot spread where every face is unique procedural sigil-art, woven into one reading. The goal was simple: push interactive browser rendering using HTML5 Canvas and see how smoothly the system responds to direct user interaction.
WHAT I WAS TESTING:
I wanted to focus on two core engineering aspects:
Procedural generation of unique runic card sigils from mathematical formulas
Dynamic typography and card flipping choreography without heavy 3D frameworks
THE TECHNICAL SIDE:
The card faces render directly onto an HTML5 Canvas using polar coordinate trigonometric curves and procedural geometry. Every draw call is computed dynamically without image textures or external SVGs.
Everything runs in the browser using HTML5 Canvas, Procedural Sigil Geometry, Seeded Randomness. No plugins, no heavy dependencies, and no external tracking.
WHAT I LEARNED:
Balancing procedural symmetry with organic irregularity was the main hurdle. Pure mathematical curves looked too synthetic, so adding minor pseudo-random offsets gave the sigils their handcrafted appearance.
Finding the sweet spot between mathematical precision and tactile visual feedback took several iterations, but the end result runs consistently at 60 FPS.
