By trial and error...
I've realized that almost everything worth learning comes with mistakes: A new career. Motherhood. Running. AI. Different chapters of life, but the same pattern every time.
When I started running, I couldn't make it five minutes without stopping. It would've been easy to focus on that and think, "Maybe running just isn't for me." Instead, I kept showing up.
The same happened when I changed careers. The same is happening now while I'm learning AI and vibe coding.
It's funny how our minds remember the mistakes much more clearly than the progress. But looking back, I don't remember the failed attempts nearly as much as I remember the fact that I didn't stop.
I'm learning to enjoy the process more than chasing perfect results. Every mistake teaches something, every attempt builds confidence, and every small step moves us forward.
Maybe mistakes aren't the opposite of progress. Maybe they're simply part of it.

I replicated this automotive landing page hero section from Dribbble to improve my Framer workflow and visual design skills.

This one is for all the overthinkers out there.
Meet Notto
A small creature made entirely out of thought.
Every mind leaves things behind: unfinished ideas, buried memories, questions we never answered. Notto is what happens to those traces.
Its personality lives entirely in its head, because that's where the thinking happens.
Calm, curious, overwhelmed, or inspired, it's always shifting, never twice the same.
The body stays constant underneath it all: quiet, grounded, unmoved. That contrast is the whole character. One part of Notto never changes. The other part never stops.
The process:
It started with just a silhouette. Every mascot you actually remember, you remember as a shape first. Before color, before detail, before anything else.
If the outline alone can't carry the identity, nothing else will save it. So that's where the exploration began: stripping the character down until the silhouette could stand on its own.
From there, the system built itself around one rule: the body stays constant, the head doesn't. The head is a living visualization of thought: every line is a memory, an idea, a question, a curiosity.
Calm settles into smooth, rounded orbits.
Curiosity pulls the lines outward.
Overwhelm tightens them into sharp angles.
Inspiration lets them glow and wander into color.
Every thought leaves a shape.
