This is the part of design nobody shows.
Not the final reveal.
Not the client handoff.
Not the "project shipped" post.
Just me.
Switching images.
Asking the same question every time.
"Does this feel like a brand?"
Red woman. Too aggressive.
Dark silhouette. Too mysterious.
Blue tone. Too cold.
The layout is done.
The structure is solid.
The components are built.
But the image?
The image is the soul.
Get it wrong and the whole thing feels empty.
Still searching for the one that makes it feel alive.
That's the real work.
Not the build.
The feeling.

Presenting my conceptual design for the Cirebon 600th Anniversary. This logo, shown in "Artboard 12-8.png", is a tribute to the deep cultural roots and the forward-moving spirit of Cirebon.
The Design Concept:
The Dragon (Naga): Represents power, wisdom, and the historic cultural identity of Cirebon, integrated seamlessly into the number '600'.
The Architecture: Symbolizes the historic Kraton and iconic landmarks that stand as witnesses to six centuries of history.
Megamendung & Waves: Incorporating the classic Megamendung motif and ocean waves to reflect the coastal nature of Cirebon and its harmony with nature.
The Color Palette: Using vibrant greens, golds, and blues to signify growth, prosperity, and the boundless potential of the city.
This design is a visual bridge between our rich past and a brighter, more advanced future—'Cirebon Maju'.
