Passing By is a 60-second cinematic short about a young woman whose daily walks past a community graffiti wall slowly change the way she sees herself and the people around her. I created it partly in Renoise by using reference images, locked camera compositions, and AI-generated image-to-video animation to tell a quiet, emotionally driven story about hope, perspective.

This is my very first time creating a cinematic AI video, and honestly I had no idea where to start. But Renoise Canvas made the whole process intuitive and fun. from generating each shot to building the narrative structure.

The concept: a young man living his dream life in the city, confident, successful, thriving. But after a sudden glitch, he opens his eyes and realizes he never left his village porch. A 30-second short film with a dramatic voiceover and a plot twist ending.

Just wrapped up The Hunt, my submission for the RENOISE Challenge.

This project was all about building tension through atmosphere rather than dialogue or gore. Every shot, discarded iteration, and transition was explored inside the Renoise Canvas until the pacing felt right. Sometimes the best creative decision is knowing what not to keep.

The attached workflow shows the complete production process—from early experiments and unused generations to the assets that made the final cut.
