AI-Powered Yacht Charter Automation | n8n, AI Agents & GoHighLevel
Project Overview
I built an AI-powered automation system for a yacht charter business to streamline Instagram conversations, qualify potential customers, check yacht availability, and manage leads through GoHighLevel (GHL).
The goal was to reduce manual work, respond to inquiries efficiently, and help the charter team focus on serious potential customers.
What I Built
1. AI-Powered Instagram DM Automation
Automated responses to customer inquiries on Instagram.
Designed AI instructions to provide natural, concise, and relevant replies.
Handled questions about yacht options, pricing, bookings, and trip requirements.
2. Yacht Availability Integration
Integrated yacht booking availability data into the automation workflow.
Used date-overlap logic to check requested travel dates against existing bookings.
Identified alternative available dates when the requested dates were unavailable.
3. Intelligent Lead Qualification
Captured important information, including travel dates, guest count, budget, and yacht preferences.
Identified high-intent prospects and routed leads according to qualification rules.
Helped move serious prospects toward a conversation with the charter team.
4. GoHighLevel CRM Integration
Integrated lead workflows with GoHighLevel.
Implemented contact search and update logic.
Added conversation summarization so relevant customer requirements and previous discussions could be saved in a contact's custom field when the customer shared their phone number.
5. Workflow Automation with n8n
Connected APIs, AI agents, and CRM operations through automated workflows.
Implemented conditional routing to handle different conversation scenarios.
Structured the workflow to support reliable data processing and reduce repetitive manual tasks.

The Outcome

A law firm was losing good leads because every inquiry sat in an inbox until someone had time to read it.
