Horizone: a car rental platform, built on Base44
My second entry. I brought the design direction for a car rental brand, and Base44 turned it into a working product: the database, logins, booking logic and emails, without me writing a backend.
· Live availability across 14 cities: only cars that are actually free on your dates
· Live pricing with protection tiers and extras, checked again on the server before booking
· Two-step checkout with no account needed: confirmation email, desk alert and calendar event
· Staff dashboard: bookings, fleet calendar, fleet, locations, pricing, promotions, pages, journal and settings
· Customer accounts to manage or cancel trips
· Works on desktop and phone

Three weeks into building the Pasted website, after the design was approved, an 11-page document arrived with a whole new vision.
It was beautiful work, and it described a different project at the agreed price.
I asked them to decide: keep the approved scope, or pause and price the new idea separately. On day six, they chose the original. We shipped two weeks later.
Offering to price the new vision as its own phase also lets the client see what the idea costs without it feeling like a no. Was a change-order process already written into your contract, or did you build that path on the spot?
