CROCK OF SWAMPSIDE a micro-series pilot about Crock, a laid-back anthropomorphic crocodile who insists "not my problem" while quietly fixing every crisis in his swamp-port neighborhood without breaking stride. In the pilot, a mysterious package he's asked to deliver turns out to hold an ancient glowing tooth that starts tearing the city apart dragging him toward a hidden underground reptile civilization and an ancient voice that calls him "the last one."
I built Crock and his world (Swampside, a fully non-human reptile/amphibian civilization) to explore a character whose comedy comes from doing almost nothing while chaos happens around him and to plant a bigger mystery about his own identity that the pilot deliberately leaves unanswered. Where I'd take the series next: Crock reluctantly descending into the underground civilization to learn what "the last one" means, meeting more of his own species for the first time, and slowly being pulled from "not my problem" into a role he never wanted while his neighborhood (Uncle Snout, Pip, Big Marsh, Rusty) keeps dragging him back to everyday swamp-life chaos in between.

"The Silent Shore"
When a passenger ship is swallowed by a storm no one survives, the handful who wake up on the other side find themselves somewhere the ocean was never meant to lead. Ezra Voss came looking for his missing father; instead he finds a world of glowing forests, floating stone, and silent watchers who lead the survivors not to safety, but to a temple — where something far larger than any of them has been chained for reasons no one will explain.
The pilot ends the moment the chained figure speaks his first words: "Where do you come from?", a question that reframes everything the audience just watched. Is this new world a refuge, a prison, or something else entirely? Who built the temple, and who put the chains there and why does the figure ask the newcomers where they're from, as if the answer matters more than it should?
What drives the series forward:
Central mystery: what this world is, why it exists on the other side of a storm, and what the chained figure actually is.
Goal: Ezra's search for his father collides with a much bigger question — whether his father ever made it here first.
Conflict: survivors divided between trying to get home and staying to uncover what they've found.
Cliffhanger: the chained figure's question is left unanswered, setting up the next episode as his interrogation of — or alliance with — the newcomers.

Series Title: MAJOR MUNKY
What happens to a video-game character after the player turns the game off?
Major Munky is a retro action drama series that breaks the fourth wall to explore the life of a classic 16-bit game hero after the game is over.
Inside the game, Major Munky is an unstoppable jungle commando, fighting enemy monkeys, firing bananas, defeating giant bosses and winning every mission. But when the screen says “YOU WIN,” the game doesn't really end for Munky. But outside the game, Munky is just an ordinary, tired husband who is scared of cockroaches, polite to people and is afraid of any danger he faces. His day job is being the hero of a video game; when his shift is over, he removes his bandana, drives home, cooks, cleans, watches TV and lives a quiet life with his wife.
The pilot follows Munky from his final boss battle to his completely different life outside the game, until his old final boss, Kong, breaks the rules of the game and enters Munky's real world.
Kong has kidnapped Munky's wife and gives him 24 hours to rescue her.
“You always win in games. Let's see if you're a hero in real life.”
For the first time, Munky has no player, no health bar, no extra lives and no restart button.
Where We Would Take the Series Next:
Munky sets out to find and rescue his wife, but along the way he slowly discovers that the skills he thought only existed inside the game are actually part of him. He follows clues left behind by Kong, using his game instincts, combat skills, problem-solving and knowledge of his enemies to track him down.
Each episode becomes a new level with its own challenge, taking Munky into unfamiliar places and situations where he has to use his old game skills in the real world. But unlike the game, he can't simply restart when things go wrong.
As the clues get closer to Kong and the challenges become harder, Munky begins discovering his own courage and learning what it actually means to be a hero.
And throughout the journey, one thing keeps ticking:
24 hours.
The closer the clock gets to zero, the closer Munky gets to finding Kong — and his wife.
