Security Drift in Iterative AI-Assisted Development: a sole-author research study introducing the Security Drift Index (SDI), which measures how a codebase's vulnerability profile shifts across successive AI-assisted iterations. Across 15 FinTech scenarios and 150 code snapshots, the study documents silent vulnerability accumulation and recommends security checkpoints between iterations rather than only at the end.
