I'm entering the #base44giveitaglowchallenge on Contra. $15,000 in prizes. The brief: give a real local business a glow-up with a live site and working automations using Base44.
The business I picked? My own.
I'm a personal trainer, and my online presence has been... let's just say it could use the glow. So I'm building myself what I'd build for any client: a fully designed, mobile-responsive site that actually works for the business.
Here's what I'm shipping:
The site. A clean landing page with my services, pricing, transformation photos, and a clear CTA. No clutter. No "contact me on Instagram DMs" as the booking flow. A real site that does the selling for me.
The automation. A booking or scheduling flow so clients can grab a session without the back-and-forth texting. Possibly an AI agent to handle common questions like pricing, availability, and what to expect in a first session.
The story. I'll document the full before/after. What my online presence looks like now vs. what it looks like when a web developer actually builds their own thing instead of just building for everyone else.
Deadline is July 13. Three days. I'll post the walkthrough when it's live.
