Why Project Diagnosis Matters (Before Any Webflow Work)

Too many web developers jump to 'I'll rebuild your site' without asking the actual question:

Does your business need a rebuild? Or something else?

Here's the diagnosis framework I use

Question 1: What's actually broken?

Nothing exists (need custom build)

It exists but looks/feels outdated (need redesign)

It gets traffic but doesn't convert (need optimization)

It can't do what you need (need custom functionality)

Question 2: What's the actual goal?

More leads? (Optimization + redesign)

More conversions? Optimization

Better brand? ( Redesign + custom)

Specific functionality? (Custom build)

The diagnosis determines the solution. Get the diagnosis wrong, and nothing else matters.

That's why I always start with discovery and not with a sales pitch.
