🔥 New addition to my portfolio 🔥
Previously I had an SVG mask of my logo in the center with my showreel behind it, but this had a couple of issues. So yesterday I pushed it further and I created a 3D variation, video playing inside it, glass refraction and it's even more beautiful when you click into it.

Going from an SVG mask to a full 3D variation with glass refraction is a big jump in complexity for a logo treatment. What was the hardest part to get right, the refraction itself or making sure the showreel still reads clearly behind it?
the glass refraction on the 3d mark is a cool touch. did you build the interaction with three.js?
Yeah, built with react-three-fiber since I'm using Next.js

B for me. A is a great mascot, but B actually behaves like a brand, it stretches across a whole system without breaking a sweat. The rhino stays recognisable even when it goes minimal, which is the real test.
