Most freelancers use client work as samples. I don't always have that option. Confidentiality is real, and a lot of my best work lives inside companies I no longer work for.
So I write fictional ones instead.
The Spider-Man job description in my portfolio isn't a joke. It's a real job description, structured the way a real JD should be, with a real role summary, real responsibility framing, and real compensation context. The subject matter is absurd. The format is not.
Same with the SOP for web-swinging and the KPI scorecard for saving civilians.
The work shows you what you're actually buying: a writer who knows how these documents function, not just what they look like.

While most participants naturally lean towards building standard web apps or generic startup dashboards—concepts the industry is already highly familiar with—I decided to bring the theme 'Interfaces that feel alive' to a space that is notoriously static, flat, and outdated: the professional resume. I built 'The Living Portfolio,' a next-generation interactive CV tailored for a hybrid Web3, AI, and Security Engineer. By breaking away from traditional dead PDFs, this interface uses premium dark glassmorphism, tactical micro-interactions, and responsive canvas layers to transform a career summary into a breathing, high-fidelity digital identity that actively engages the user.
I utilized Google Stitch as the core engine for establishing the initial responsive layout and grid structure. From there, I transitioned into an iterative process using in-place edits to inject custom CSS motion properties, technical typography, and interactive button states. Finally, despite heavy platform limitations regarding multi-page structures, I successfully leveraged Stitch's export capabilities to deploy the compiled pages directly onto Netlify, achieving a fully functional and publicly accessible live prototype.
While the core concept of Google Stitch is highly innovative and the visual potential of the canvas is impressive, the developer interaction with the AI agent was a deeply frustrating experience filled with friction.
During the detailing phase, the agent consistently suffered from severe context drift. It repeatedly violated explicit constraints—such as generating entirely new layout windows instead of modifying existing components in-place as instructed. Furthermore, it frequently erased pre-existing text data and wiped out working elements during subsequent prompts. It felt as though the agent is programmed to over-generate new code overzealously rather than respecting precise, incremental boundaries. While I see the immense value in Stitch as a builder, managing the agent for high-fidelity UI work currently requires an exhausting amount of backtracking to fix forgotten or deleted elements.
P.S. I'm honestly not 100% satisfied with the final result, but iterating with the agent is a never-ending loop—with every new edit, something else kept getting lost or forgotten :-D. So, I'm submitting it as is and going to chill.
Project Title: Captain Cut: Guardian of the Canvas
Creative Track – CapCut as a Persona
Concept Statement:
For the CapCut DesignStudio Challenge, I decided to personify the brand by taking a completely different direction: a comic book superhero universe. I played on the brand name to create Captain Cut, the ultimate creative companion, and designed his ultimate nemesis, Lord Lag.
🌌 The World: The Infinite Canvas
The story is set inside a vast, digital macrocosm known as The Infinite Canvas the universal realm where all human imagination, video, and design data are processed into reality. If a creator thinks it, it is built here.
🪓 The Conflict: The Render War
For years, the Canvas thrived in perfect flow, but a dark anomaly began to spread from the unrendered corners of the system.
The Villain (Lord Lag / The Dreaded Block): A chaotic, glitching entity made of broken digital artifacts and heavy, frozen geometry. He feeds on human hesitation, self-doubt, and technical barriers. His goal is to slow down human expression until the entire Infinite Canvas is trapped in a permanent, unrendered state of Creative Block.
The Hero (Captain Cut): Born directly from the core neural network of the CapCut engine, Captain Cut is the ultimate creative companion. He is a sleek, black-and-white armored guardian who patrols the Canvas to liberate creators trapped by the block
When Lord Lag launches a massive static storm that freezes a prominent digital metropolis and traps thousands of editing timelines, Captain Cut arrives on the scene.
Wielding his signature Chrono-Shears, Captain Cut engages Lord Lag in a dramatic, high-intensity battle. With one decisive, lightning-fast slice, Captain Cut cuts through the corrupted code of Lord Lag, shattering the block and releasing a massive wave of vibrant, geometric asset data restoring the creative flow to the universe.
