The bit that trips people is persisting the accent color. Color is not Codable out of the box, so it ends up stored as RGBA components or a hex string and rebuilt on launch. Applying it as .tint at the app root plus preferredColorScheme from one @AppStorage keeps the whole thing driven by a single source of truth.
