Your product is good. Your video needs to make people understand it in 60 seconds.
I'm John, a video production lead and animator with 20 years in 2D, 3D, and now AI video production. I've spent 8 years as a senior animator and AI artist at Omnicom, where I built an AI video production department from the ground up. Through my studio, Dreamfire Films, I make explainer videos for tech products.
What I do:
• Explainer and product videos for SaaS, AI, and dev tools
• Pharma and healthcare animation (I know the review process and the science)
• AI video production: faster turnaround, cinematic quality, human-directed
• Script, storyboard, voiceover, animation, and final delivery, all in one place
You get agency-level work without agency overhead or timelines. Message me with your product and deadline, and I'll tell you how I'd approach it.

Doppel — Threat Graph
Making complex cybersecurity concepts clear through motion.
For the Doppel Threat Graph product film, I contributed to the visual development and animation. The product connects digital threats across multiple channels, revealing how individual signals form part of a coordinated attack campaign.
The challenge was to translate this technical functionality into a clear visual narrative—showing why the connections between threats matter and how they help reveal the bigger picture.
My work covered storyboard and motion exploration, animation, and scene refinement throughout the feedback process. The focus was on introducing information progressively and guiding attention toward the relationships central to the product’s value.
The result is an animated product film that introduces Doppel Threat Graph and makes its core functionality easier to understand. The project demonstrates how motion design can bring clarity to a complex software product.

That's unbelievable great job 🎉🎉🔥🔥
Manual work is always better than ai slop you can use ai for some clips but full video made with ai is unprofessional and a waste of money and resources
Product marketing has just become easier
Apply that human manual work and a pinch of ai( the trick up the sleeve).
Two cuts of the same Outlier promo. 24 seconds each, one framed wide, one framed for the phone. 1 or 2. Why?🤔

Going with 2. Most people will watch it on their phone anyway and the tighter framing feels punchier. 1 looks more cinematic though.
