Every project teaches you something new.
When I started designing Amazon listings, I thought it would mostly be skincare, cosmetics, and supplements. Then came a paddle board… and I realized clients can surprise you in the best way
Here’s a before-and-after of my latest redesign.
What has a real project taught you that practice couldn’t?

For me it was that the image stack has to answer the questions people ask in reviews and Q&A, not the ones the brand wants to talk about. For a paddle board I'd guess that's weight, inflated size and what actually comes in the box. Did the client share review data or return reasons for you to work from?

The client shared the product details and design requirements, but not specific review data or return reasons. I focused on presenting the key product features, dimensions, weight, and included accessories clearly so customers could make an informed decision.

Real projects always stretch us in ways tutorials never do, Humaira. The before-and-after on the paddle board listing shows how much strategy sits behind good product imagery. Clients really do surprise us in the best way.

Absolutely! Real projects teach you things you can’t learn from tutorials alone. Every project brings a new challenge and a chance to grow. Thnku for such valuable comment😊
