I built a shared space where the simplest childhood game creates real moments of connection.

For the @Contra x @Figma Makeathon, I created The Arena a playful world for Rock, Paper, Scissors tournaments.

Back in school, Rock, Paper, Scissors was never really about winning. It was the ritual. The eye contact. The split-second tension before the reveal. The laugh when you lost. Those tiny shared moments between classes and during lunch breaks.

Today, we're more digitally connected than ever. Yet most of us spend our days working alone moving between calls, tasks, and notifications.

So I asked: What if that same simple game could become a place where people feel together again?

That's why I built The Arena.

The Arena is a shared world where anyone can create or join Rock, Paper, Scissors tournaments.

→ Friends can start private arenas → Strangers can jump into public ones → Every match becomes a small, live moment of anticipation, reaction, and connection

The game is simple. The goal isn't really winning.
