Miles Away, Problem Solved.

It was a Tuesday morning in Lagos. I had just settled into my workspace with my laptop open and a cup of tea, ready to start the day.

My client, a busy entrepreneur based in Austin, Texas, sent a voice note at 7am her time which was already 1pm in Nigeria.

"Hey Deborah, I completely forgot I'm travelling to New York next week for a conference and I have no one to watch Rooney. Can you find me a good dog daycare somewhere close to downtown Austin? I filtered by price, proximity, and specialization looking specifically for facilities that mentioned anxiety-friendly environments or small group setting then narrowed it down to three options, checked their websites, confirmed their daily rates, noted their drop-off and pick-up times, and even looked up whether they required vaccination records because I knew my client would ask.

Within 45 minutes, I sent a neatly organized summary:

"Hi! Here are 3 dog daycare options near downtown Austin for Rooney. I've included the daily rate, hours, what past reviewers said about anxious dogs, and the vaccination documents they'll need. Option 2 stood out small groups, vet-supervised, and several reviewers specifically mentioned it's great for nervous dogs. Happy to call ahead and make the booking if you'd like!"

My client replied two minutes later.

"This is exactly what I needed. Book Option 2 please."

I booked it, sent the confirmation details, and added a reminder to my client's calendar for drop-off day.

By the time Austin was having lunch, the problem was completely solved.

The moral of the story?
