ClearVPN Redesign: From Complex Shortcuts to One-Button VPN
ClearVPN is a cross-platform VPN product by MacPaw designed to make online privacy simple for everyday users.
As a Product Designer, I helped simplify the experience through research, product metrics, usability testing, and business insights. Instead of a full redesign at once, we worked in small iterations to protect conversion while improving clarity.
We moved the product from a feature-heavy interface to a simpler VPN experience focused on one-click activation, clear connection status, smarter country selection, speed indicators, and optimal location recommendations.
