FindIt — Campus Lost & Found App
UI/UX Design
Designed the core flow for FindIt, a mobile app that replaces informal campus lost-and-found systems (WhatsApp groups, security desk logbooks) with a structured reporting and matching flow.
The main design challenge: building trust in an automated match without it feeling like a black box, while preventing false ownership claims.
Key decisions:
Photo-first reporting, since visual matching outperforms text descriptions for lost items
Match confidence broken into transparent criteria (category, location, time) rather than a single opaque score
Ownership details gated until verification, with campus security tied in as the verifying authority
Minimal, quick-entry forms suited to reporting between classes
Scope: home/discovery, report item flow, match verification, security integration.
Point-of-sale and inventory management application with products, sales, purchases, customers, suppliers, refunds, and dashboard features. Includes camera-based barcode scanning, token-based authentication, protected routes, and a responsive interface built with React and Tailwind CSS.
