Dark mode for sure! 🌙 The contrast makes the map pop so much more and it's easier on the eyes for evening walks.
Light mode is clean too, but that dark version is just chef's kiss for a route planning app!
I agree that the map interface looks cool in dark mode, I like it too!
light for me, mostly because people plan routes outside in daylight and the blue route reads faster on the light map. dark is great for evening walks though, maybe just switch at sunset

My hypothesis: clearer expectations could increase starts. The real test is whether users complete surveys, receive rewards, return More taps mean little if users regret the time spent
