Hit a small but meaningful milestone on Contra.
$5K earned building and engineering creative solutions for clients.
Grateful for the trust, and excited for what’s next.
Amazing to see this! congratulations! The struggle is real till it isn't. -- So I ask this to everyone on Contra who reaches such milestones - what are the top 3 things you would say impacted this result here on contra? and what do you think was the difference between going from the 1k milestone to the 5k jump? Great work!

Thanks a ton Aavirash, I really appreciate it.
If I had to break it down to 3 things, I’d say:
1. Consistency: I show up daily, stay active and keep improving my profile and personal projects.
2. Knowing my value: I'm always clear about what I bring to the table and don't say yes...
I really appreciate you taking the time to share Marcel! Thank you. And yes I am based in Berlin indeed. Ill send you a direct message : )
Thats a big step, congratulations Marcel

Congrats on the $5k. "Building and engineering creative solutions" is a good way to put it, feels like it covers a lot more ground than just design work.
thanks a lot Rafee and yes, I’m more of an architect than a designer. I build full-stack products and help companies connect strategy, branding, and technology.
Congratulations 🎉
Congratulations! Hope to see you post the next milestones soon as well 😉
thanks a lot Hannes and tbh, the next milestone is already loading 😊 It wants to be released badly ;)

New here 👋
I'm Christianah ( Tiana ), a WordPress developer and web designer. I build and redesign websites for healthcare practices, law firms, real estate, home services and nonprofits, mostly with Elementor and WooCommerce.
After years of freelancing, I'm finally setting up shop on Contra, and the community here is a big reason why.
So I'll start with a question for the people who've been here a while:
What's one thing you wish you knew in your first month on Contra?
It might be of help to other new people like me.
I'll read every reply, and I'm happy to return the favour on anything WordPress.
Welcome to Contra, Tiana! Healthcare, law firms and home services are great niches for WordPress work, glad to have you here.
