I’ve always been more interested in why something happens on a football pitch than simply describing what happened.
Why does a winger keep receiving in the same pocket?
Why does a midfield suddenly lose control?
Why does one player make a system work while another struggles in the exact same role?
That’s the side of football I enjoy analysing.
Tactics, player roles, team structures, pressing, build-up, transitions and the small details that often get missed when we only look at goals and assists.
I’m using this space to build around that. Football analysis, but without overcomplicating it. If there’s a tactical story underneath the result, I want to find it.
