Both are great! But I think desktop breakpoints almost always look better since you have to trim down a lot of cool designs in order to optimize them for mobile.
It also makes better use of the video space in this aspect ratio.
Laptop - I can see your work better front on and bigger 😃
They both look cool, however the laptop version gives a more immersive user experience.

Both are good designs but I like the mockup B, the dark background makes the words more visible. Even the customer is far away from the box, it can easily determine, read and recognize the brand. It is also a good user experience. 😉
