I wanted to reimagine Budweiser's classic Clydesdales in a more alternative, unconventional way. Kind of a way to satisfy my anti-christmas, grinchy side.

Everything started with the music. I wanted something bizarre but still festive, so I asked myself: what if Mr. Bungle had made a Christmas song? And the track that came out of it helped me inject extra energy into the Clydesdales.

For this holiday card, I drew inspiration from Mr. Bungle’s visual world and the psychedelic, colorful style of Frank Kozik’s 90s posters and album covers (Melvins, Offspring, Nirvana, etc).
