A quick thought on where AI automation is heading
The conversation around AI has shifted a lot this past year — less "can AI write an email" and more "can AI actually run part of my business reliably."
That shift matters. It means the bar is higher. A cool demo isn't enough anymore — a system needs to work when the input is messy, when the edge case shows up, when something changes on the other end of an API.
The businesses getting real value from AI automation right now aren't the ones chasing the newest model. They're the ones being specific about the actual bottleneck they're solving — a follow-up that keeps getting missed, a document that takes too long to review, a reply that takes too long to send.
Specific problems, reliably solved. That's where the value is — not in the hype.
