📣 calling all junior & aspiring designers!!
i get a lot of DMs from people asking how to get started in design, improve their skills, or build a portfolio without having real clients.
so i built something to help with that.
a free resource filled with creative challenges to help you practice, experiment, and grow as a designer.
it's my small way of giving back to the design community!

would love your feedback too! 🙏🏼
This is a solid initiative, Alexis. Giving junior designers structured practice without needing real clients removes one of the biggest early barriers.
The “free, self-paced, no account” angle is smart too. Less friction means more people will actually use it instead of...
Great initiative. Lots of junior designers will appreciate this kind of guidance. Thanks for giving back!
Love this initiative Alexis! As a junior designer this kind of structured practice is exactly what we need. Joining!

Practice briefs with real constraints teach more than any tutorial. Please tell me one of the challenges is a client asking for "something modern, but also timeless".

A few years ago I had the chance to take a course where one of the modules was taught by a designer I really admire, Joseph Berry.
The goal was to create a website for a product, in this case, a speaker. We went through the entire process, from receiving the brief to the very last detail, even modeling the product ourselves in 3D using Spline.
I learned so much, and also got to meet great designers. It’s amazing to see how each one has a different process, and having the chance to observe that and take a bit from each way of doing things to make it your own and develop a unique result really helps you grow a lot as a professional.
I’m sharing some frames from the project, hope you like them!
