I love Envato. I used to make loads of After Effects promo videos back in 2016 using their Envato Elements library. I'm glad they're all in on generative AI now.
As soon as I signed up for the contest, I wanted to do a quick promo for the challenge. I had to wait for the weekend because of work, but in the meantime I was gathering assets in the workspace. Looking around the Envato library kept giving me ideas, and that quick promo turned into a 60-second video built from what I found browsing Envato: Stock references became characters, then the music, voiceover, fonts, and transitions all came from their big-ass library.
I think discovery is the most relevant "Human by Design" moment... not correcting a mistake or a design change. We do that too when we collaborate with other people, but discovery is an exclusively human sport. We are the curators of taste, the creative funnel of inspiration. Yes, tools make it faster, and we can now follow every spark to create whatever we want. But that inspiration comes mostly from the need for constant discovery in our ever-changing world. It is beautiful.

✨ A website that makes you 'want' before you think
I wanted to transform the original website to a digital glow up journey. The original website shared information, but beauty decisions are emotional. Customers don't simply choose a service — they choose how they want to feel.
I designed the experience around the emotional journey of a customer:
I arrive~ I get inspired~ I imagine myself transformed~ I explore possibilities~ I trust the brand~ I book my experience
The website combines:
Instagram inspiration, Luxury salon atmosphere, Personal stylist guidance, Beauty magazine, storytelling into one experience
It includes:
-A cinematic hero showcasing transformations, movement, and beauty moments
-A curated Instagram-style transformation feed with real salon videos
-A full services menu (28+ services across 8 categories with pricing)
-A Pinterest-style inspiration gallery
-A salon atmosphere section that sells the experience, not just the service
-A client reviews section
+A blog, careers page, and privacy policy
-Mobile-responsive, deep plum and gold aesthetic throughout
The Client experience;
-Clients book appointments directly through the website
-Upon booking they receive a magic link via WhatsApp (and email if provided) — no passwords, no app download needed
-The magic link gives them access to their personal profile: appointment history, loyalty tier, and rebooking
-Magic links expire every 30 days and refresh automatically
Owner dashboard:
-A private, owner-only command center (admin-gated)
-A living client relationship system that remembers customers, preferences, appointment history, and engagement.
-Appointment calendar and management
-Lead tracking and conversion pipeline
-AI Action Log — a live feed of everything Beau has done autonomously

-Promotions- marketing campaign launched by the owner
The Super agent — Beau:
Beau is the salon's AI beauty concierge and operations brain. She handles:
-Instant booking confirmations— WhatsApp and email message to client the moment they book
-24-hour reminders — automatic appointment reminders sent the day before
-Post-appointment follow-ups— warm check-in messages after each visit, with a review request
-Daily morning briefings — owner gets an 8am summary of the day's appointments every morning
-Lead nurturing— new enquiries are logged, followed up automatically, and tracked through a conversion pipeline
-Slot-filler alerts — if a cancellation happens, Beau flags it so the slot can be filled
-On-site chat — appears at the right moment on the website as a personal beauty concierge, not a generic chatbot
