Before importing a B2B prospect list into a CRM, make each company answer three questions:
WHY is it here? Record the actual fit: industry, region and an observable reason it matches your offer. A company name alone is not qualification.
WHERE did the information come from? Keep the source URL and the date checked. Mark missing information as unknown, not as an AI-generated guess.
WHAT happens next? Give the record an owner, a verification status and a next action. ‘Company found’ and ‘interested buyer’ must remain different stages.
Then review duplicates before import. A normalized website domain can flag possible matches, but branches and separate legal entities may need separate records. Don’t merge them blindly.
A useful acceptance test: pick 10 random rows and ask a teammate to explain why each company fits, verify its source and identify the next step. If they cannot, improve the data before expanding the list.

each row has the phone, the google rating, how they take bookings and one note on their site, so the first email can actually say something.
if you pitch local businesses, what's the one column you'd want on a list like this?
